Members never see each other’s numbers, and neither does the office — you see names and chosen channels, nothing more.
What churches send
- Service changes — "Sunday’s 11am service moves to 10:30 this week."
- Event reminders — the potluck, the youth retreat deadline, choir rehearsal.
- Prayer chains — a request that reaches everyone who signed up for it, at once.
- Emergency closures — "Due to ice, the building is closed today." Everyone gets it the way they chose.
Tip: make a separate group for each list — the whole congregation, the prayer chain, the choir — so each message only reaches the people who asked for it.
Priced for a church budget
Take a 150-member congregation. On Starter ($19/month), a 150-person group fits with room to spare — the plan covers up to 250 members. If everyone chose text, one reminder uses 150 credits, so the 250 included credits cover about 1 text reminder a month. Members on email don't use credits at all.
Consent, kept clean
