Email and app notifications come out of your plan's included messages. Credits cover the channels that cost us money to send: a text costs 1 credit (a long text, or one with emoji, can count as 2 or more), and a WhatsApp message costs 1. So a 40-person announcement by text uses 40 credits. We warn you at 50%, 80% and 100% — and if you run out, those sends pause until the month resets or you upgrade. Nothing is ever dropped silently.
